Site Description
The core components of this IPA are situated on the steep sided valleys in the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is more suitable habitat in the area, however it does not contain the Sorbus spp. to designate under Criteria A and is not of the quality to classify under Criteria C. The surrounding habitat may be part of the zone of opportunity which can be developed through specialist knowledge of the Sorbus spp. populations.

Botanical Significance
Noted for vascular and habitat interest. Sorbus hotspot (S. leptophylla, S. leyana, S. minima) & Hieracia.
